This is a simple quiet video of teaching an individual to move from ground work to now working their horse under saddle.

When working with students, my role is to provide two eyes, relay helpful steps without overwhelming the rider and horse with to much information. Less is more. Quiet, successful steps are the key.

Good day horse friends!

For those of you that followed my training and coaching at
REIN Rescue, I have great news. Kassie and her foal have been making great strides towards becoming more consistent in trusting Joy and Grace. Now she is accepting brushing and her halter is being rubbed along her neck.

Please follow the site and support them if possible. These two ladies with the help of volunteers keep the rescue farm moving forward and saving so many lives. You can even sponsor one of your favorite horses.

First time bath for your young horses. It’s always best to do this outside in a safe space. Do not tie or cross tie your horse. No squirting please. Slow and easy. Use a damp cloth to wipe and clean their faces. bathtime REIN Rescue

As my time is getting closer to leave this beautiful farm. I shall pass the baton over to Grace to finish this mare and slide that halter over her head.
Grace and Joy have so much trust built in with this mare over a long period of time, so with Grace giving her 15 minutes a day, I bet I get a phone and a photo, the mare is haltered and ready for a short lead.
