et has unique needs. That’s why I provide personalized, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s individual circumstances. I care for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, small animals like guinea pigs, hamsters, and rats, as well as fish and turtles. If your pet isn’t listed, I’m always happy to discuss their care needs. I also have experience administering medications to pets, ensuring they receive the proper care and attention they require. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, companionship, or specialized care, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have completed all background checks and clearances, providing peace of mind to pet owners. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets and providing them with the best care possible!

Next up for National Dog Month is Isaac. He's a bundle of energy with a big heart. Isaac is happy to go on walks and take time to play at home. He's been a friend for a few years now I think. I'm terrible at how fast time goes by and remembering when I start my visits with pets. But I do know Isaac is top dog!

National Dog Month featuring pups I've cared for over the years. Meet Nuala (new-la). She's a Samoyed who was one of my first early on overnight in-home dogs. We have been hanging out since 2020 or 2021. (Honestly, it's been so long I forgot!)

Nuala is a fan of long walks and lots of pets. She loves to sleep in dog beds when we are hanging out in the house. My cats also find Nuala interesting while she's usually bored by them. This beautiful girl is also a fan of giving kisses.

Things to consider when hiring me...

1. I am insured and work under an LLC. This matters. It is added peace of mind for you. Not everyone has these, that's fine. But it is protecting everybody (including your pets) and costs you nothing extra for me to have this coverage. It gains an added sense of trust and security. I can share these with anyone upon request.

2. I am the only person you are hiring. I handle this business solely on my own. This means you speak only with me. You meet only with me. Your pets are cared for only by me.
You are NOT getting in touch with me and then being sent to another sitter. Sure this could change as I increase business but I will always take time to meet my clients and their pets even if I have a hired employee. I have had another sitter in the past but I always made sure clients and pets meet ME as I am the name and face of this company.
With some companies, even if hires are vetted first and you meet them prior, it's not the personal touch of a one hard working woman owner building a business from the ground up. With me get a dedication to your family and pets that may not be there when you're hiring through a middle man.

3. I have background checks and clearances. I am happy to provide those anytime if needed. It's yet another layer of added security when hiring me.

4. My experience goes beyond the professional years. Sure I started doing this as my only job in 2017 but before that? I had cats, dogs, rats, birds, guinea pigs, fish, hermit crabs, turtles, lizards, and so many other pets of my own growing up. I am an animal person and I am constantly learning new ways to make your pets comfortable and loved when you're away.

This is my cat Boo sleeping in the dog bed. Clearly the guests are wondering why.

When your pup spends their vacation and time at my house they must be cat friendly. Even if the one cat (I have three) steals the bed!
