ATTENTION SOUTHERN OREGON HEELERS COMMUNITY!!!!!

Due to several new laws that have recently passed in California, we have made the difficult decision to no longer place our puppies in the state of California. Laws SB 312, AB 519, and AB 506 introduce new legal, financial, and administrative requirements that significantly increase the level of risk and liability for small, responsible breeders like us.

While these laws were created with the intention of strengthening consumer protections and regulating unethical large-scale operations, they also create expanded reporting obligations, stricter contract requirements, limitations on certain advertising and placement practices, and increased financial exposure in the event of disputes. Navigating these changes responsibly requires resources and legal infrastructure that are not feasible for our small, hands-on breeding program at this time.

After careful consideration of these regulations and the increased liability they bring, we feel it is in the best interest of our program, our puppies, and the families we serve to focus solely on placements within Oregon and other states outside of California for the foreseeable future.

This decision was not made lightly. Our priority has always been raising healthy, well-socialized puppies and maintaining long-term relationships with our families. Thank you for your understanding, continued support, and trust in Southern Oregon Heelers as we move forward.

Our sweet Nikki girl is finally back home where she belongs. 🤍

Bringing her home today was both the hardest and most comforting feeling. She may not be here the way we want, but having her back under our roof brings a peace I can’t even explain. This is where she was loved, where she was safe, where she was ours.

Nikki filled our lives with so much joy, loyalty, and unconditional love. She was more than a dog — she was family, our shadow, our comfort, our heart. The house feels different without her, but her presence will always be here.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed, checked in, and loved on us during this time. It truly means more than we can say.

Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge, sweet girl. 🌈

Yesterday we said goodbye to our sweet girl, Nikki.

There are no words for how heavy this feels. Watching her body get tired so quickly was heartbreaking, but loving her meant making the hardest decision for her comfort and peace.

Nikki was more than just a dog — she was family. She was there through so many seasons of our lives, always loyal, always loving, always ours. Her happy spirit, her sweet eyes, and the comfort she brought into our home will never be forgotten.

Holding her close one last time was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but I’m grateful we could give her a peaceful goodbye surrounded by love. She didn’t leave this world alone — she left it knowing she was deeply, completely loved.

Run free, sweet girl. No more pain. We will miss you forever. 🤍🐾

🐾🎉 BIG NEWS FROM OUR PROGRAM 🎉🐾

If you’ve been following us for any amount of time — or have welcomed one of our precious puppies into your home — you know how dedicated we’ve been to strengthening Peaches’ bloodlines over the years.

For the past 10 years, I have worked intentionally and carefully to preserve and improve our lines — focusing on maintaining strong, healthy working traits while phasing out the Toy Aussie influence and returning to the solid, traditional foundation of the Queensland Heeler.

Well… it has finally happened. ❤️

From our very first litter of 12 puppies, one of the pups recently had a DNA test done — and the results came back purebred.

After a decade of thoughtful breeding decisions, health testing, and long-term vision, seeing that result means more than I can even put into words. This wasn’t rushed. It wasn’t accidental. It was years of commitment, learning, refining, and loving this breed deeply.

I am so proud of how far our program has come — and so grateful to every family who has trusted us with one of our puppies along the way. You’ve been part of this journey too.

Here’s to strong bloodlines, healthy dogs, and honoring the heritage of the Queensland Heeler. 🐾❤️

One of our favorite times of the year is here — our sweet puppies are getting ready to head to their forever families just in time for Christmas! We can’t wait for each of you to bring home your new little bundle of joy.

This year’s Go-Home Day bags are packed and ready! 🎁🐾
Each family will receive a festive take-home bundle filled with puppy essentials — including a cozy paw-print blanket, starter food, a holiday toy stocking, important paperwork, and a Southern Oregon Heelers tote to help your pup settle in comfortably and confidently.

A friendly reminder as we get closer to pickup:
🐾 Parvo safety remains our top priority. Please avoid public places, parks, and unvaccinated animals until your puppy is fully protected.
