Knowing where we came from is so important for perspective. 2 years ago Maddy could lope a barrel pattern and we were pleased when she could break 20 seconds. Fast forward to July of this year, we break the 17 second mark at 16.8 in the Gorge. This weekend she clocks a 16.006, 16.294, 16.210. Huge strides in 6 months time.

It’s been a whirlwind summer for Maddy and Nicole. Highlights include a buckle at BRN4D finals in youth, several personal best times in barrels, poles and other timed events and… running the JR Barrels as lucky number 111 at the Canby Rodeo. Cannot forget the cool photo op with Pro Rodeo Barrel Racer Ivy Conrado-Saebens. What an incredible life we live.
