We dropped Porker off at the vet tonight, and tomorrow she will finally be getting her cherry eye surgery. The vet suggested having her spayed at the same time to save on the risks of putting her under anesthesia again, so she is getting spayed as well. Hopefully everything goes well for her!

Curious to know how much snow everyone got. We had 23" at my house. How were things down on the Cape, and up in Maine, and down in New Jersey? Hope no one lost power and that everyone is safe!

I hope everyone had a fun Halloween! I took the boys Trick-or-Treating, and we made a surprise visit to Shyla's house. She is doing great and seems very happy. I think she remembered us, especially Zachary and Aiden, she gave them lots of doggie kisses. :)

Shyla found her forever family yesterday, to a nice, sweet family from Athol. She is a real sweetheart and I'm sure she'll bring them loads of happiness for years to come. On the other hand it was a rough night for Porker without her sister for the first time. She whined and howled for about 20 minutes. Hopefully tonight goes better. we shall see.

On our way home from South Hadley today we made a visit to Belchertwon to see Elvis, who is now named Fred. Fred was the name of our first basset hound, who sadly passed away. He was also Molly's half brother. Fred (Elvis) is a regular old farm dog, and he fits right in with all the horses at the Green Acres Equestrian Center, which may I add, is absolutely beautiful! :)

Elvis has left the building! Elvis went to his new home in Belchertown at a horse farm. I think he'll get along great with their dog Gabby, the horses, and other farm animals. Sad to see him go, but I know he's got a great loving family! :)

Porker had her surgery today to remove a fluid filled cyst from her third eyelid on her right eye. She did very well, and is home resting.
