Meet the newest residents at the sanctuary.
Blossom , Lily and Charlotte arrived this morning. Their human mamma isn’t able to look after them anymore for health reasons. Thank you Jen for bringing them to me where they will be loved and safe . 💜

And little cuddly Daisy isn’t a rescue but makes a great addition to our animal family. ( thanks Brooke ) ❤️

Ugh. The YULIN dog and cat meat festival in China begins on Sunday. They are already collecting dogs and cats. Stolen or street animals.

The torture them. They think the meat is better the more the animals suffer.
It is pathetic and horrendous and makes me sick.

😞 SO SAD

Due to the overwhelming dog surrenders and the number of roaming dogs/puppies picked up by animal control daily, most dogs that end up in public shelters have poor outcomes! If you adopt a dog, please make a commitment for the lifetime of the dog, not until... 🐾💕😊🐶💯

The baby RAVENS( not so baby anymore ) are out of the nest. They are in trees and in buildings. They are scared. This one has been on this bin for hours. The parents are around and calling to all the young ones.

Rescued roosters. 2 per double cages. In pairs that get along . They can’t be loose because they will fight with the ones running free - ( I have 3 free that get along together )
They all go inside at night
The rescued hens are kept separately because the roosters will try to mate them constantly.

Baby Ravens are huge now and the nest is full. The babies will be coming out very soon -

Correction. 7 PIGLETS off to the vet this am. 🙄. The bigger males ( 7 weeks old ) in a crate each and the 3 male babies ( 2 weeks old ) in a crate together 🐽🐷
