To celebrate CSR week, that’s Customer Service Representative week, we would love to showcase our newest employee!

You may have noticed a new smile in our practice!

You may have spoken to or visited with Sydney, our new Customer Service Representative! Sydney has been with us for a month and is settling in well with assisting you and your fur babies! Here’s a little more about her:

Sydney graduated from IWCC in 2007 with a degree in marketing but has always loved animals. She grew up as a military “Brat “and later became a military spouse and has lived in a total of 9 different states! She and her husband Joe have 3 children that keep them busy. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, gardening, painting, and volunteering at the local equine therapeutic riding academy (HETRA).

Edu: IWCC (Iowa Western Community College)
Hometown: (Raised all over, but Omaha is my adopted hometown since I lived here 2 times while growing up and finally settled here yet again)
Pets: Dogs Olive (a GSD mix ) and Pan (an Auggie ) and several fish.

Heads up that Dr. Siggers will be out of the office next week on Monday 4/4 to Wednesday 4/6.
The office will be open from 9am-5pm each day for food and medication pickup as well as minor nurse directed procedures. We will resume regular hours and business on 4/7!

Ok you all! Put on your diagnostician hats and tell us what’s going on here! This is a 9 yr old dog spayed female dog that presented to our local emergency hospital for bloody urine. A urinalysis was performed and determined a urinary tract infection was present. They recommended a follow up with us in 5 days and to get an x-ray of her abdomen, specifically the bladder.
Any guesses (diagnosis) to be had?!

Check out our new friend Draco, the 6 mth old #Rottweiler puppy! He’s a sweet boy but has a congenital problem! He has what is known as a #subaorticstenosis. This is when there is narrowing of the outflow from the heart causing increased pressure to pump the blood! There is no effective treatment and it can shorten his life span.
