Today I worked with Griffin, a 11 month old Doberman. Griffin being the smart dog he is, already quite a few commands. His owner was needing some leash work. Griffin liked to be the boss on his walks and was pulling enough it was hurting his mommas arm. She reached out for help on how to stop this. The after videos are in the comments. This is Griffins first day working on his heel. His owner and him are off to a great start. A little more practice & work and he will get it just fine.

Today I worked with Jay and Xena. Xena is a feisty but intelligent 11 wk old Belgian Malinois. We worked on Xena’s recall , sit, down, some leash work and a little bit of other things we can improve on in the future as she grows. Here’s some videos of Xena’s recall after a little bit of work. We worked on calling her while distracted by the sounds as cars drove by or sniffing interesting things a puppy finds - my backpack that was full of treats. A dogs recall is one of the most important things you can teach them ! …. And yes her name was Xena ! If ya know you know !
