🚔🐾 Supporting Washington’s Detection K9 Teams

We’re excited to introduce a new opportunity for Washington law enforcement agencies: department specific fundraising campaigns hosted by the K9 Kuva Memorial Foundation on our Give Lively platform.

These campaigns help agencies raise funds for mission aligned needs such as single purpose detection canines, handler training, and K9 program development.

The Foundation manages the campaign setup and shares it on our channels, while agencies promote it within their communities.
All funds raised are restricted to the approved purpose and used to support safer communities across Washington.

Hooray to this Goober!!! 🙌 Red is a Certified Fi****ms Detection K9!!!
Red has worked very hard the past couple of months for this day and beyond. It was definitely a huge reminder to just trust your dog.
Im very proud of him and Thankful to have him as one of my working partners!

We finished up Maverick's Scent work Novice title this weekend!
Our ability to trial 2025 was scarce and I had the goal to finish his novice title by the end of 2025 but life happens. We have big goals for 2026 and we are already off to a great start!!!
What a privilege he is to work with, Atta boy Mav!

There is always room for growth! Don't get stuck in that echo chamber, be curious, learn the other ways, dont be afraid to ask the questions and advocate for your dog and yourself as a handler. You deserve the knowledge!

🐾 What’s a Labra‑dork?
It’s our tongue‑in‑cheek way of saying: we’re obsessed with our Labs… but really, we love all the dogs. Big, small, goofy, serious—every wagging tail is part of the family.

❤️ Thank you to every single one of you who came out with your pups, shopped, laughed, and supported us. And a huge shout‑out to our vendors—you brought the sparkle, the chaos, and the heart that made the first annual 🎄 Holiday Bizarre: Presented by the Labra-Dorks 🐾 one for the books.

And thanks to , Trinity Douglas & Trissa Halbert who were willing to jump in with all paws to make this thing happen! Our debriefs definitely make it all worth it!

What a great weekend!!!

🎄 Breaking news from the land of “finally decorating my own house instead of ” 🎄

Turns out we forgot to post the winners of the 100‑container search. Oops.

👏 First, fake drumroll for K9 Luna—who casually smoked 4 explosive hides and actually worked 107 containers with drug + nosework distractors in just over 3 minutes. Absolute beast mode even in retirement!

🔥 And let’s not forget K9 Mayhem—topped the drug search even though her handler didn’t know the hide locations, she still didn’t get to be in the running. Savage handler rules strike again.

So the real winners stand up and bow!!
- Friday: Crystal & Dahlia!!
- Saturday: Maureen & Boom Boom!!

💥 This wasn’t your average container stroll—weighted, weather‑proofed chaos with distractors galore. Way more challenging than usual container search, but every nose got a workout and every handler got a laugh. Congratulations!!!
