UPDATE: Nursing mama has been found, plus two back-up nursing mamas! So thankful to live in an amazing community of rescuers who are always willing to step up and help! Thank you very much for everyone who shared, tagged and networked for these sweet little nuggets! We will keep all posted on how they are doing!

Some days in rescue are unbelievable!
A man just dumped 3 newborn kittens in a bucket of water at our rescue. One was almost dead. These babies are too young to bottle or syringe feed. We are urgently needing to find a nursing Mama cat!

This is Yankee, formerly Desiree . We adopted her from Wayside Waifs @ 8 weeks of age. She got pnemonia within the first 2 days of bringing her home, after a "ruff" 4 weeks she came out of it. Our girl has a lot if baggage, you can't touch her feet, pick her up and lawdy, does she shed....but we wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world. This picture is her first photo shoot at the ONLY groomer in the world; Christie @ Bellissima Dog Boutique that Yankee will let touch her. She got a bath yesterday and Ms. Christie got her to pose for this picture. If you need someone kind and gentle, look at this groomer! We love our Wayside Waif furbaby!!!
