We love the ones curled up on our sofas. But we need to remember the ones who aren’t. For every animal in a safe, warm home, there are many more waiting for one.

Compassion shouldn’t end with the pets we personally know. It should extend outward to the rescues, the volunteers, and the quiet heroes doing the work most of us never see and can't imagine.
