Recently we returned from North Bennington, Vermont where Shirley Jackson Day was celebrated at the Left Bank.
Each of Shirley Jackson’s grown children read from their mother’s stories while many fans sat in rapt attention.

Shirley Hardie Jackson (December 14, 1916 – August 8, 1965) was an American writer known primarily for her works of horror and mystery. Her writing career spanned over two decades, during which she composed six novels, two memoirs, and more than 200 short stories (per Wikipedia).

I had honored of photographically documenting Shirley Jackson’s grown children 72 years later.

The Annual Occidental Center for the Arts World Music Day was an extraordinary event that offered a unique opportunity to explore diverse cultures through music and dance performances, as well as instructional sessions. As their *staff photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the essence of this event, and I have shared a selection of photographs below. For those who missed this event, I recommend checking the center's calendar for upcoming events, which have been expertly curated by Tina Marchetti, the Executive Director.
