Ghost and Boo have had their first baths and nexguard! They are loaded with fleas and ticks and dirt 🫠 They both did very well. Ghost has good manners and went right in the bath. Boo isn't such a fan of water but tolerated the lengthy bath to alleviate her itching.
We will be finding a vet willing to set up an account to take donations for initial appointments and spay/neuter.

Sunshine will be returning to us today.
She had a bit too much energy for the adopters and needs a bit more work with housetraining. So she will need a home with someone who understands her needs as a young dog who is still getting used to life in a home. We are going to make sure she goes into a home with other dogs who match her level of energy.
Negative comments are not needed as we are all saddened that this didn't work out.

Can we save every animal? Absolutely not.
No one could.
But do we make every effort possible to? Absolutely.
Every animal deserves respect and compassion and that's what we strive for.

It's been a hell of a ride; but Sunshine is with her new family 💕
I'm so thankful to this sweet girl and every lesson she has taught me during our time together. One of my harder goodbyes for sure ❤️
