We are expecting two wonderful foals next spring 🎉

The first being A FULL SISTER to Oracle ✨ I’m so excited for this “little” lady. This was one of the embryos I was able to test for gender/color/genetics and it is indeed and a colorful female! Like Oracle, she is frame overo with W20 so I expect lots of white. It is *likely* bay but also could be buckskin 🤣 ! The cream test on embryos is very difficult to accurately test for… either way she will surely be a beauty and a complete character much like her brother! 💜

A most lovely big, bay recipient mare is doing the heavy lifting for us this time around as always I am so grateful to and Josie and her family for giving me to opportunity to try one more time for my “dream” filly! MARE POWER 💪 If she’s even half as amazing as my special boy, Oracle, then she will be a sight to behold!

Costosa: 1999-2022
My big moving powerhouse mare was laid to rest Friday. She was struggling with EPM and other issues and was happy and enjoying retirement right up to her last day when she wasn’t happy anymore.
Costosa was my first Andalusian I bred myself. Out of a Caprichoso S mare and sired by the Olympic competitor Aureolo VII.
Most people remember Costosa from Dressage at Devon where she won the Iberian Horse breed class every time I showed her. She always won the Best Movement class and the gold medal movement award at her breed shows. Nobody trotted like Costosa. Now she’s just trotting behind the veil.
Survived by all her c**ts: Manrico, Don Carlo, Rinaldo, Ferrando and Giorgio.
Rest well powerful girl.
