NJ - OWNER DIED - BELLA IS SHUT DOWN AND HEARTBROKEN — SEEKING IMMEDIATE RESCUE/FOSTER

Please share and leave pledges for rescue because she will need medical care!

Bella is a 10-year-old sweetheart whose world just collapsed. Her owner passed away, and she’s completely shut down in the shelter — gentle, quiet, and clearly grieving.

She has mammary tumors that need medical attention, so she needs a rescue able to cover her vet care.

She’s at a small North New Jersey animal control which is private for her safety and security. We want to make sure she is loved and safe for the rest of her life.

✔️ Female, 10 yrs
✔️ Lived peacefully with a cat (we cannot cat test here, but she has that history)
✔️ Submissive and shy with our female tester dog, but nice - can definitely live with dogs
✔️ Soft, polite, no drama — just heartbroken and confused
✔️ Rescue-only due to medical needs

Bella deserves to heal and feel safe again. If your rescue can step up for her, please email: [email protected] if your rescue can help. If you want to send in foster offers too that’s fine, we just can’t do anything until we secure a rescue.

She just needs someone to give her a chance. ♥️

Keep them indoors, provide a safe space, and ensure they have proper identification. Consider playing calming music or using a white noise machine to mask the sounds of scary fireworks And It's also crucial to avoid leaving pets unattended outside, especially during fireworks displays.

This incredibly sweet girl was found with a bullet in her leg, which was infected and had to be amputated.
She has since found a wonderful home!!!
