We are posting in search of a long-term foster or forever home for a very special boy. We would like to introduce everyone to our dapper Buddy Beane.
Buddy Beane is a sweet senior gentleman with a heart full of love and one simple wish: to be someone’s whole world.
Buddy came to us alongside his beloved sister, Molly Beane, (whom passed away due to kidney failure last year) after their elderly owner passed away. It was a big change for him, and since losing both his home and his lifelong companion, Buddy has been patiently waiting for a second chance at the life he once knew.
This handsome boy loves, loves, loves people. He thrives on human connection, soaking up affection and giving it right back tenfold. But Buddy isn’t a fan of sharing that love—he needs to be the only cat in the home. Because of this, finding the right placement has been a challenge, and the shelter environment—especially life in a cage—has been far from ideal for a cat who just wants to be close to his people.
At nearly 13 years old, what Buddy truly needs is a long-term foster or forever home where he can stretch out, relax, and spend his golden years surrounded by love. A quiet home, a cozy spot to rest, and a human (or humans) all to himself—that’s all he’s asking for.
Buddy doesn’t want much—just someone to love him, and to be loved right back. If you have room in your heart and home for a devoted senior who will cherish every moment with you, Buddy Beane is ready to give you all the love he has.

Foster homes are provided with food and all of Buddy’s ongoing veterinary care will continue to be provided by us. We do ask that fosters provide litter in their home as we go through so much of it and it is one of our largest overall cost points. All foster homes are required to pass a veterinary reference check for all pets in the home.
