🐰 Somebunny Needs a Home! 🐰

This handsome little guy was found hopping around in Mira Monte and was brought to us for safe keeping while we searched for his owner. So far, no one has come forward to claim him.

He is a young male mini lop, probably under a year old, and he is full of personality. He is cute, playful, curious, and ready to bounce his way into someone’s heart. 💕

He would love a safe, happy home where he can play, explore, and be spoiled like the little prince he clearly thinks he is.

If you are interested in giving this sweet boy a forever home, please reach out. Let’s help him find his happily ever after! 🐇✨

🐾 Our Community Pet Pantry is Open! 🐾

We have plenty of dry dog food available for anyone in need. To help keep the local critters from gnawing holes in the bags, we’re placing the dog food inside the ice chest, so please feel free to check there.

We are currently out of cat food and canned pet food, so if anyone would like to donate some, it would be greatly appreciated. ❤️

We’ve had a wonderful mix of supplies donated and picked up, and we are so thankful to everyone who participates in supporting our community, families, and their pets.

Let’s keep it going! 🐶🐱
Donations are always appreciated, and everything goes right back into helping animals and local pet owners.

Caring for Orville 🕊️🤍

Meet Orville, a baby band-tailed pigeon who came to us orphaned and in need of special care.

Band-tailed pigeons are native wild birds, and their babies require warmth, quiet, patience, and very careful feeding. Right now, Orville is resting safely, being kept comfortable, and getting the support he needs to grow stronger each day.

As he continues to improve, Orville will soon graduate to a perch when he is ready — a big little milestone on his journey toward growing up wild.

These little ones may look fragile, but with the right care, time, and a safe place to heal and grow, they have a chance to return to the wild where they belong.

Grow strong, sweet Orville. We’re all rooting for you. 🤍🕊️

Today is release day for two wild female mallard ducks! 🦆🦆

These two came to us as tiny orphaned ducklings, needing safety, warmth, and care until they were strong enough to grow up wild. After lots of time, feeding, and proper care, they are now fully grown, healthy, and ready for the life they were meant to have.

Watching them return to the wild is always the best part of rescue. It is a reminder of why this work matters.

Thank you to everyone who supports us, donates supplies, and helps make these second chances possible. Every little bit helps us get animals from intake to release day. 💚 Venmo

Happy release day, little mallards! Go be wild. 🦆🌿

🐭Awesome Opossum Release Day

Today is release day for this group of 4 young opossums! These little ones came to us through our partnership with Ojai Valley Wildlife Care after they lost their mothers and needed a safe place to grow up. Over the past several weeks, they've been provided food, shelter, and the space they needed to develop the skills necessary for life in the wild.

Now they're healthy, independent, and ready for their next adventure!

Opossums play an important role in our ecosystem by helping control insects and cleaning up carrion, making them one of nature's best cleanup crews. We are always honored to be a small part of their journey back to the wild.

A special thank you to Ojai Valley Wildlife Care for trusting us with their care and to everyone who supports local wildlife rehabilitation efforts. Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helps animals like these get a second chance.

Good luck, little ones! Stay wild and stay safe! 🌿❤️

If you'd like to support wildlife rehabilitation, donations can be made to Ojai Valley Wildlife Care via Venmo: . Every dollar helps provide food, formula, medical supplies, and care for orphaned and injured wildlife. 🦝💕
