Coming into January/February it is the prime time to prune your fruit trees or even your more mature trees for structural pruing. Had a very hazardous fail this week! Box elder tree, split at the included bark. Coming down on top of 2 sheds 4 sections of fence and a trampoline. Luckily no 1 was injured. Things like this can be avoided if the right actions are taken. Client had tree pruned a few years ago, could've have been braced/bolted, pruned heavier on the inclusion side or even removed and had a new one planted.
