Sorry this puppy update has taken so long. I havenā€™t had the heart to write it. I still donā€™t but it needs to be done.

There were complications with the birth and our sweet Mama Trey and her babies didnā€™t survive it.

To say we are devastated and heartbroken is an understatement. Trey was our little circus performer. She could hold her ears straight up even though they werenā€™t cropped. She wanted so badly to understand human speak. Her favorite word was toy. She wanted you to throw it but she refused to bring it all the way back to you. She wanted you to work for it. When she wanted something from you she would stand on her back legs and paw the air at you telling you to pay attention. If there was a treat she would dance before you could even tell her to. She was our chicken wrangler, helping us get them back in the coop at night. She was also a great mama. We were amazed at how good she was with them and how much she worried about them.

Anyway, as she was our only female schnauzer we wonā€™t have any puppies for the foreseeable future. For those of you who were waiting for this litter we wish so badly this hadnā€™t happened and we are so grateful that you saw the value in our babies to wait for them.

Rest in peace Treydin Bella II

Welcome to SAW Eclectic Pets!

We started breeding miniature schnauzers in 2001 after getting Treydin Jade (Trey 1). We took a break to have our human kids, and now that they're a little older we are bringing our schnauzer line back. Stay tuned for posts on our history with schnauzers, our current dogs and their personalities, our past litters, and our future litters.
