Hi everyone!
My name is Ella, and I am launching Rosie’s Dog & House Sitting, a small business that combines two parts of my life that matter deeply to me: pursuing my medical education and caring for animals with the attention and love they deserve. As I work toward my long-term goal of becoming a physician, I am building this business as a way to support my studies while doing work that feels purposeful, grounding, and joyful.
Anyone who has ever loved a pet knows they aren’t “just” animals—they are our family. They greet us at the door, comfort us on difficult days, and fill our homes with unconditional love. They rely on us for everything, and when we’re away, it can be stressful to find someone who cares for them with the same gentleness, patience, and understanding we give them ourselves. That’s the core of what I want this business to offer. My goal is to step in as a trusted, reliable presence so that families can feel completely at ease knowing their pets are safe, happy, and truly cared for.
Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience through dog sitting, working in veterinary clinics, and helping support pets with a wide range of needs—from energetic puppies to seniors who need medications, monitoring, or a quieter environment. I understand canine behavior, know how to read subtle changes in mood or comfort, and take pride in creating routines that help each pet feel secure. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, overnights, or full house-and-pet sitting, I tailor everything to the animal’s personality, health, and lifestyle.
Beyond caring for pets, I also know how important it is to feel confident that your home is safe while you’re away. For that reason, I include house sitting support such as plant care, mail pickup, and basic home upkeep. My hope is to make every family’s time away less stressful and much more peaceful.
