This is Lyme disease awareness month! Like disease is a bacteria carried by the deer tick. About 5-10% of infected dogs develop symptoms which in some cases can be severe. What is the best way to prevent Lyme disease? Keep your dog on a flea and tick preventative year round!
Here are the symptoms:

🐾 Intermittent limping or lameness that shifts from leg to leg
🐾 Fever
🐾 Loss of appetite
🐾 Decreased activity
🐾 Swollen lymph nodes
🐾 Painful, swollen joints
