☀️🐾 A HUGE Thank You from Boujee Paws & Claws 🐾☀️
I want to take a moment to thank all of my amazing clients for being so understanding and flexible during this heat wave. Your support means the world to me, and most importantly, it helps keep your pups safe.
As temperatures continue to climb and the heat index reaches dangerous levels, our normal walking schedules sometimes need to be adjusted. During peak summer heat, pavement temperatures can become unsafe for paws, and the combination of heat, humidity, and poor air quality can quickly become overwhelming for our furry friends.
To put your pups’ safety first, some walks may be moved to early morning before I head to my office job, later in the evening when temperatures begin to cool down, or occasionally skipped altogether when conditions are simply too dangerous. Please know these decisions are never made lightly and are always done with your pet’s best interest in mind.
I am still available for drop-in visits, potty breaks, feeding, water refreshes, playtime, cuddles, and check-ins throughout the day. My goal is to make sure your pets are cared for while avoiding unnecessary risks during the hottest parts of the day.
With the heat wave and rain moving through, conditions are expected to feel extremely sticky, muggy, and uncomfortable. This is especially important for our short-snouted breeds, senior dogs, puppies, and pets with health concerns, as they can struggle to regulate their body temperature much faster than others.
Thank you for trusting me with your babies and for understanding that their safety will always come first. I appreciate each and every one of you more than you know. ❤️
