Stay in the AC! We're under a heat advisory, seriously. If you need tips on getting your outside dogs to feel fresh to live inside until it cools down (or for good...preferably for good), just let me know!

Gary got a bath & brush out today!
...or wait....reverse that! He gets brushed & combed before & during the bath because he has a strong aversion to the dryer. It's easier that way, especially when he's not getting a haircut. Today was a little different! He was fantastic for the dryer mostly, but when I got to his head, he put moves on me I haven't seen before. He's good at parkour!! The shower sprayer was still on the floor. He kicked the faucet & turned the water on, soaking his bottom half & my right side. I promise everything but his head was dry & fluffy before that!! Me? I'm still working on air drying 🤣 You won't catch me outside trying though! Y'all stay in the AC!

Dogs are fun & definitely keep you guessing. Gary did that today for sure! I mean....how????🙃

!! Vendorfest is coming back to Argenta Plaza on Saturday July 26th & I'll be there with Repeal BSL in NLR giving out sweets & plenty of education on my services as well as how BSL hurts our communities.

Introducing Pete, June, and Chester!!

After a very warm & busy weekend, it was fun to get some meet some new besties! Of course, the day wasn't without a bit of a fail...I started with Cheerio & forgot to take a pic of her😬 Maybe next time.

As for this crew, we will be seeing them regularly. The boys are both amazing! Miss June needs a little bit of work to learn that grooming isn't scary. We'll get her used to it soon enough!! Fortunately for me, now I know her ears don't sit the same way so now we'll get to fix it over time 😁

We're caught up for now! Keep following for some extra fun coming up soon!

Saturday was for Auzzy to get clean & neat!

He was a little overdue because his people were busy having great weekends to kick off the summer! Unfortunately Saturday was very warm & we both got worn out pretty quickly. I think we got it all done though😊 He should be back on a regular schedule from here on! Let's hope for a little relief from the sauna conditions soon!

I was supposed to have a big dog family today, but they had something unanticipated come up, so today is national sugar cookie day with Luke Cage!

An embarrassing amount of hair came off of him. Like, I know why he's been a bit itchy & my baseboards look like the wild west with black tumbleweeds rolling around.

Not pictured is Bailey who got his nails done & had time to harass Luke for a bit afterwards😁

I'll be out of service with a couple exceptions through the weekend to celebrate an amazing friend, so it might be a little slow around here as far as dog pics go until next week. Still want you guys to keep an eye out for a sweet announcement!!

I'm sharing Miss Addie today to show you that yes, I can give a haircut to a dog that lays down the whole time. It's not cute, but it's what she could handle! She's doing really good for 16!

I'm thankful for the friend that referred her to me because Addie's humans are amazing! Thank you guys for letting me take the time I needed with her🥰 They were happy with the results & that's all that matters😊

Another amazing head tilt from Huxley with his fresh haircut! He was so excited when we got done (as usual), but paused for a couple seconds to give me a few decent pics😊

Not pictured from today is Bear, who just needed a quick nail grind! He's such a good boy! Maybe I'll think to grab a pic next time....maybe🤣

The background is courtesy of the sky over my very own head! I ran some errands then I used the rest of the afternoon to enjoy pool time🌞 The work day isn't over though! I still need to clean equipment, tighten the bolts on my table (Huxley's kiddo pointed out that it was wobbly so I told him I'd get on it), prep for tomorrow, and get the towels in the dryer at least. We can fold them tomorrow, right?

Bawnya was coming in hot with the head tilt today!!! She & Dougal both got haircuts.

He looks sad, but he's not. He wanted to cuddle. Dougal's fluffy legs had to go, which I totally understand. Keeping a dog fluffy & long takes daily work to brush & comb those long spots. I'm happy to save his humans some time😊 He's still just as precious!!💜
