A chapter closes.

Paisley officially retired from our breeding program and was spayed last week.

She gave us beautiful puppies, taught us a lot, and now gets to spend the rest of her days doing what she does best—being spoiled.

🐾 Harley Update 🐾

Life has been a little slower around here lately.

A few days ago Harley managed to break a toe, which means rest, limited activity, and keeping that foot wrapped.

The good news? She’s doing well.

The bad news? Nobody has convinced Harley she’s injured. 😅

She’s still supervising everyone, keeping watch over the property, and reminding me daily that she would rather be training than recovering.

Here’s to a speedy recovery, Harley Bug. 🖤

A lot has been happening behind the scenes at Prime Standard Kennels lately.

🐾 Harley managed to break a toe and is currently on restricted activity (which she is NOT happy about).

🐾 Paisley officially retired from motherhood and was spayed last week.

🐾 Crucial got his second round of vaccinations today and is growing into an impressive young male.

The social media has been quiet, but the dogs definitely haven’t.

This kennel isn’t just about puppies. It’s about the day-to-day reality of raising, training, and caring for every dog that calls this place home.

We’re back. 🖤

I blinked.

That’s all it feels like.

A few days ago I was counting down the hours until we brought Crucial home. Now I’m sitting here looking at him and realizing he’s already changing.

Bigger.
Taller.
More confident.

Every day the puppy disappears a little more and the Cane Corso he’s going to become starts showing up.

One day this little guy is going to be standing next to Harley producing the next generation of Prime Standard Kennels puppies. But today he’s still my shadow, still climbing in my lap, and still thinks he fits anywhere he wants.

I’m going to enjoy every second of this stage because it doesn’t last nearly long enough. ❤️

8 weeks old.

Still just a baby, but there’s already so much to like about this boy. Structure, confidence, bone, expression, and a temperament that makes him easy to work with even at this age.
