Consider using boots to protect paws from ice, salt, and chemicals, and always wipe off feet after walks. 🐾

The holidays are here, and that means more guests, noise, and excitement in the house! While we all love celebrating with family and friends, it can be a bit overwhelming for our furry companions. Here are some tips to keep your pets calm and comfortable while still enjoying the holiday cheer:

Create a Safe Space 🏡: Set up a quiet area where your pet can retreat if things get too hectic. A cozy crate, a separate room, or their favorite blanket can offer a retreat when they need some alone time.

Give Extra TLC ❤️: With the hustle and bustle, your pet may feel neglected. Be sure to take time for extra snuggles, playtime, and walks to keep their routine as normal as possible.

Prepare for Visitors 👥: If your pet gets nervous around strangers, consider keeping them on a leash or in a quiet area when guests arrive. Slowly introduce them to visitors in a calm and controlled manner.

A cat was found near 23rd Street, cold and hungry. She is now safe and being cared for at For Paws.
