Let’s take a moment to brag on the real MVPs of Board Witt Us… 🐾💛

Our babies.

You see all the adorable faces that come through our home — the zoomies, the snuggles, the chaos, the personalities… but what you don’t always see are the ones who make it all possible behind the scenes.

The ones who share their home.Their toys.Their humans.Their routines.

Over and over again.

Faith, our sweet golden girl, continues to show us every single day what patience, gentleness, and quiet leadership looks like. She welcomes each new friend in her own way, setting the tone and reminding everyone that this is a safe, loving space.

And Miss Galinda… our queen 👑🐱She may prefer her peace and quiet, but she has learned to coexist with the ever-changing lineup of visitors like a true professional. From curious noses to unexpected encounters, she handles it all with grace (and just the right amount of sass).

Not every pet is cut out for this lifestyle — and that’s okay. But ours? They’ve embraced it in a way that makes Board Witt Us what it is today.

So while we love showing off all of your fur babies (because trust us, we LOVE them), today is about ours.

The most patient hosts.The most understanding siblings.The heart of our home.

We couldn’t do this without them… and honestly, we wouldn’t want to. 🐾💛

Loki 🐾 | 14-year-old Mixed Lab | Queen Energy Only

Miss Loki is the definition of strength, grace, and a little bit of “I’ll do it myself, thank you very much.” At 14 years young and rocking severe hip dysplasia, this sweet girl may need a helping hand—but don’t let that fool you… she runs the show 👑

After a previous not-so-great experience, her family trusted us to step in, and we started things off with walks. Loki made it very clear from day one—she has a system, and we are simply here to support it. Once you learn her routine, it’s game on. She’ll have you cruising to the fence and back like a pro, no hesitation.

She’s a fighter through and through, with a love for the simple things—fresh air, exploring her surroundings, soaking in the views of her apartment complex, and saying hello (or should we say woof) to every neighbor and furry friend along the way.

She may take a little patience at first, but once she trusts you, you get to see just how incredible she really is. Strong, independent, and full of personality—our kind of girl 💕

Would gladly walk this princess again and again.

Miss Loki came in and handled her boarding stay like the absolute queen she is 👑

With our linoleum floors, we quickly learned we needed to roll out what we lovingly called the “red walking carpet”—creating safe, grippy paths fit for royalty. And let me tell you… this girl was so patient with us as we figured out what worked best for her. True class.

Lack of carpet? Not a problem. Loki made it her mission to explore every inch of the loft until she found her perfect little spots to relax, recharge, and keep an eye on her kingdom. Once she settled in, she was completely at home.

She absolutely loved her time outside—lounging under the trees, soaking up the shade, watching the neighborhood like the wise little queen she is, and just enjoying the fresh air and beautiful weather.

When it came time for potty breaks, Loki let us know in the most polite, independent way—carefully getting herself up and waiting patiently for us to assist her around the yard. A team effort, just how she likes it 💁‍♀️

And those stairs?! Slightly steeper and narrower than what she’s used to—but did that stop her? Not even a little. She tackled them like a champ and had them mastered up and down all weekend long without a single issue.

Strong, determined, and full of grace—Loki is truly something special. We adored having her and would welcome this sweet girl back anytime 🐾💕

Sir Collin 🐾

Sir Collin stayed with us for 8 days, and what a fun little personality he brought into our home! He truly lived his best life—loving his time exploring outside, playing in the yard, and then coming inside to snuggle up like the pampered prince he is.

He’s naturally curious and wants to be part of everything going on. If you’re moving, he’s moving. If you’re doing something, he’s right there supervising every step of the way. The more comfortable he got, the more his playful side came out—especially when he discovered the toy box and decided it was his personal treasure chest.

While Sir Collin isn’t the biggest fan of loud or unexpected noises, he handles them in true poodle fashion—brave, forgiving, and quick to carry on like nothing ever happened.

Now, let’s talk about mealtime… Sir Collin was very interested in everyone else’s food but not always his own, which made getting a full meal in him a bit of a challenge. After checking in with his parents, we tried adding a little chicken, and with the right balance (and knowing not to overdo it for his tummy), he was good to go!

And those zoomies… top tier entertainment. Whether inside or out, when that burst of energy hits, he is all about having a good time.

He also has the cutest little jealous streak—if our dog tried to jump up for hugs, Sir Collin was quick to remind everyone that he should be the center of attention. And honestly… he makes a pretty strong case for it. 😉

Sir Collin was an absolute joy to have, and we loved watching his personality shine more and more each day. We would gladly welcome him back anytime at Board Witt Us!
