💥 Sitting down for this one… and glad I did!

The guns were in front of a steep bank, so I had to get creative and set up behind it for a good mark. Usually, I stand far back, but sometimes you’ve gotta get closer… and if you listen closely, you can hear the shot hitting the trees above me! 🌲🔊

Loved using this smaller shoot for some 1:1 time with Prim—getting those marks in and soaking up the moment. 🐾✨

— You can’t beat the determination of a cocker! 💪🐾
We don’t usually allow ground game retrieves — it can encourage chasing and that’s not a risk we take on a shoot. But this was after the whistle on a dead hare… and she absolutely rose to the occasion. 👸

That’s a wrap on 25/26 season 💥
- Over 40 shoot days beating and picking up, first time with my team of 3 girls out working together!! ✨
- Fortunately we all came away mostly unscathed! It seemed to be the year of interdigital abscesses and thorns in paws which are all easy to fix!
- We met up with old friends and made plenty of new ones!
- Luna, Daisy and Prim will have a couple of months off and start some training again in the spring!

💥 full circle moment - remember Lunas one and only litter with Flynn?

- Family reunion in the field! Brock got to meet his half sisters!

- Well we were picking up alongside Brock one of their handsome blue roan sons! 🐶

- It was so lovely to see how smart he has turned out and the traits of both his parents shining through.
- Today made me a very proud breeder! Congratulations James for doing such a beautiful job training him 👏
