✨Customer Appreciation Post ✨

Ya’ll have been making me feel like a local celebrity these days. Several times a week I’ll have a vehicle honk and excitedly wave at me while I’m out walking pets and I LOVE IT! My 38 year old (🤫) eyes can’t make out who you are that well as you’re driving by and I’m not always familiar with your vehicles…but I’ve never forgotten your dog. 🤩 If you could yell your pup’s name at me as you drive by so we can both celebrate in this happy greeting, I’d love you so much for it. 😂😂😂

No but seriously, you all are the best. I know I say this often but this is the best job I’ve ever had and it’s because of you all spreading the word and treating me as well as I do caring for your pet crew that I’ve been able to make this my full-time career. I’m forever grateful and you seriously make my day when I get a honk, a wave, a shoutout when you see me out and about. Adds a little extra pep in my step!

And we can’t end this without giving a shoutout to the sweet new dogs I’ve added to my Pup Crew this week that I’m doing Overnights with. Say hello to Sasha & Nolen!

It definitely rained on us today but you all showed up! So glad we got to meet so many new faces. This was my first Buttercup Fest and I wish I had more time to make it to all of the booths but the turnout was great! We love this community.

Rock N Pup Pet Salon- Nolensville has a full staff and HAS OPENINGS! Reach out if your pup (or cat!) needs a groom, bath, nails trimmed.

I have openings but they are filling up quickly as we move into Summer. Please get your requests in as soon as you plan something so I can do my best to accommodate. WE LOVE YA’LL!

We will be set up near Itty Bitty Donuts in the bright pink tent. Rock N Pup Pet Salon- Nolensville will be doing discounted nail trims, give-a-ways and will have items for sale. We want to meet ALL the pups and their owners that are out and about! COME SAY HI! 🦮🐕‍🦺🐕

✨ MEET LUCKY ✨
From Fear to Friendship

I met Lucky and his sister Dixie in March 2024. Dixie was instantly at ease—but Lucky was terrified, even with his family by his side. His past was a mystery, but his fear spoke volumes. Whatever he’d been through, it left a mark. And my heart broke for him.

Every visit after that, Lucky barked the entire time. If I got too close, he’d lunge. Walks were off the table—he wanted to go, but just couldn’t let me near him. Still, I showed up, day after day, patient and gentle. This wasn’t about me—it was about giving him the space to feel safe again.

So I sat nearby. I gave Dixie love so he could see she trusted me. I left treats within reach, even when he wouldn’t take them from my hand. I waited.

Then came our first overnight. He was on edge the entire time—and honestly, I was worried I’d made no progress at all. But on the last day, something shifted. Lucky jumped on the bed. Not for cuddles, just to be close. My heart could’ve burst, but I played it cool.

Next visit? He ran up and gave me a hug. And just like that, I was in. Now he’s the first to greet me with love, always fighting Dixie for a spot in my lap.

It’s not fast. It’s not linear. It’s built on trust, patience, and showing up—especially when it seems like nothing is changing.

I don’t pretend to know it all. But I do know how to listen to dogs—their body language, their fears, their little victories. As someone with my own social anxiety, I understand how hard it is to let people in.

I’m so proud of Lucky. He did the brave part. I just gave him the time to do it. Now? We’re inseparable.

✨ FIND YOUR PET ✨

When the owners are away, the pet crew plays. We’ve been having a blast this last week with Spring Break. All the snuggles, the walks, the hogging of the covers, and Templeton even helped me do some work on my iPad! I had a bird and a hedgehog I got to look after last week as well. So cool!

Please book ahead whenever possible - especially if overnights are needed as they book the fastest. It’s gearing up to be a busy Summer! April is almost completely booked so get your dates in!

As always, thank you for your trust to care for your pets while you’re away. It’s not something I take lightly. I ALWAYS go at your pup/cat’s pace. We respect boundaries here! And in doing so, it’s fun to watch the anxious ones warm up and see their true personalities come out!

Hi Pet Crew friends! We’ve been having a blast - and even moreso now that it’s starting to warm up. March and April are filling up quickly, so if you’re looking for care for upcoming trips (especially if overnights are needed), I encourage you to reach out with those dates soon so I can guarantee you a spot!

WHEN THE OWNERS ARE OUT, THE PUPS PARTY! I strive to keep their schedule as consistent as possible in your absence and fill their days with walks and fun to keep them occupied!

Straight up CHILLIN’ on this Tuesday, January 73rd.

🤣 Why does January always feel like the longest month of the year? Holy smokes.

Anyway - I’ve been bad at posting here because I’ve been so busy playing with all of your pups and kitties! But ✨ Just a reminder… ✨

Spring break will be here before you know it and I only have a few spots left, so if you’ll be going away and need care, send your requests in before I’m all booked up!

My availability for that week is: March 11-16

I will be CLOSED March 7-10 for a mini trip.

As always - thank you for trusting me to care for your pets in your absence. It’s a badge of honor that I wear, truly. I know our pets are our whole worlds. (Trust me, I know. There’s only a select few I’d leave my cat Pixel with and I’m the lunatic pet parent that begs for a hundred photos a day.)
