We are so excited to announce that our little Max has found his forever home! ❤️

Here’s what his new mom had to say about this perfect little guy:

“Max is absolutely amazing! He made himself right at home from the very beginning, and we all adore him. His big (doggie) brother Winston finally has the best playmate, and Stevie (his little person) gives him kisses and has to tell him goodbye every time we drop her off at therapy school. If we try to leave without him, she insists he comes too! Haha!

He has truly become my little shadow. Honestly, bringing Max into our lives has been such a blessing.

Stories like this are why we rescue. Happy tails, sweet Max. Your family was always meant to be yours. 🐾

Sometimes life changes in ways no one could have anticipated.

Our little Appa left for a two week trial with what truly felt like the perfect family on Mother’s Day. Today, they received heartbreaking news that a close family member has experienced a serious health crisis and will now need to move into their home for around-the-clock care. With so many sudden changes happening at once, they are feeling understandably overwhelmed and have made the difficult decision to return Appa.

This sweet boy has done absolutely nothing wrong. In fact, Appa is nearly the perfect pup 💛

At almost 5 months old, Appa is smart, eager to learn, and full of love. In just a short time he has already mastered sit, down, and stay. He loves his treat puzzles, proudly carries around his favorite chew bones, and walks beautifully on a leash. He is both house trained and crate trained too!

Appa adores other dogs and is even convinced cats who don’t like him yet will eventually become his friends🤣

Because he’s still young and learning the ropes, Appa would truly thrive in a home with another playful dog who can help show him the joys and routines of dog life — part best friend, part wrestling buddy, part life coach 😊

Appa, our happy little 14-week-old Great Pyrenees mix is always ready for an adventure. He loves doing all things puppy — bounce, play, chew his toys, and make new friends (yes—even cats made the cut 🐾).

With a heart of gold and a serious love for belly rubs, Appa will absolutely roll over on demand. If you’re sitting, he’s snuggling. If you’re standing, he’s nearby. Basically, your personal shadow—but fluffier.

Did we mention Appa is already potty trained (gold star ⭐), listens well, and is eager to learn. He’s even been working on his leash skills and is doing awesome!

Because he’s still very young and learning the ropes, Appa would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can show him the ins and outs of dog life—think best friend, wrestling buddy, and life coach all in one.

It’s been a busy, behind-the-scenes week for our team.

Early last week, the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office reached out to us for urgent help with two dogs—a senior momma and her older pup. Momma’s condition shows the heartbreaking effects of a lifetime of neglect. Their need was immediate and critical.

We quickly reached out to fellow rescues, and The Boxer Rescue of Oklahoma in Guthrie stepped up without hesitation. The very next day, we had the privilege of meeting their transporter and watching these two begin their freedom ride toward a better life.

By taking them in, the rescue has committed to giving both dogs the chance to heal—physically and emotionally—with proper veterinary care and the love of a dedicated foster home. In time, they will each have the opportunity to find the forever homes they deserve.

We are incredibly grateful to The Boxer Rescue of Oklahoma for stepping in to help these sweet souls. If you would like to support their care, please consider reaching out to them directly to donate toward their veterinary expenses.

Sadly, cases of severe neglect and urgent medical need happen far too often—and we want to be able to say “yes” every time. If you’re interested in short-term fostering, we would love to hear from you. There is also an ongoing need for fosters for puppies and other dogs in need.

Help us continue to say “yes” to dogs who need it most. 🐾

🎉UPDATE🎉. Thank you all for your concern and quick actions to help these puppies. Another rescue has offered to take them. They will be safe tonight. 💜💜💜💜💜

🚨💔 URGENT: PUPPIES DUMPED — FOSTERS NEEDED NOW 💔🚨

These tiny puppies are fighting to survive. They were dumped in the country like trash—no mother, no shelter, no way to fend for themselves. There were 6… now only 5 are still alive.

They should be safe with their mom. Instead, they are huddled together in the dark, scared, hungry, and alone. Every night they make it through is a miracle… but they may not have many more.

EVENTUALLY THEY WILL ALL DIE WITHOUT HELP.

A kind person is doing what they can by bringing food and water, but they need more. These are just babies—they need a home, warmth, and love RIGHT NOW.

🎉Congratulations🎉 It’s official—and we couldn’t be happier for Cooper James and his new family! 💙

Cooper James patiently waited for the perfect match, and it was so worth it. His new brother, Diesel, welcomed him with open paws, and their bond was almost instant. His new mom shared, “I never realized how much Diesel needed a friend—now there’s never a dull moment with them.”

At the end of the trial period, his new parents said it best: “Yes, we will be adopting him. There’s no way we can see our lives without him—he fits so perfectly into our little family.”

We can’t wait to hear all about the adventures and shenanigans these two will get into together!

Cooper James was special to so many. Thanks sweet boy for the happy memories. It was an honor to be part of your journey home. 💙

March 17th may be known to many as St. Patrick’s Day—but for one very special family, it will forever be remembered as Daisy’s Gotcha Day 💚

Formerly known as Rosie, Daisy has officially found her forever home, and we couldn’t be happier for her and her new family. From the moment they met, she and her new sister bonded instantly—and they haven’t stopped playing since!

A huge thank you to Ashley Routhier and Kreative K9, LLC for showing such incredible kindness and generosity! 💙🐾

We recently took in Max, a Shih Tzu who had been badly neglected. His hair was extremely long and matted, and he was in desperate need of some TLC. Ashley graciously invited Max to her shop for a spa day, and the transformation was absolutely incredible!

Not only did Max leave looking like a completely different dog, but Ashley also donated her time and grooming skills to help a rescue dog in need. We are so grateful for people like her who make such a difference in the lives of animals.

Thank you, Ashley and your staff for giving Max the care, comfort, and fresh start he deserved! 🐶✨
