This is Teddy. He is such a sweetheart. A gentle giant.

And very senior.

Whenever I am working on senior dogs, I always make sure that their comfort and safety comes first and foremost. I love my senior clientele, but not always will their grooming come out quite as socially considered aesthetically beautiful as it once did in their prime.

❤️As a senior dog, they may not be able to stand for long periods of time. ❤️

❤️Senior dogs may need frequent breaks.❤️

❤️Senior dogs may not be able to tolerate vibrations of grooming equipment on their joints or bones, or bathing, or the dryer blowong on them.❤️

❤️They may get tired quickly and need to head home, to come back and finish their appointment another day.❤️

Senior dogs have the capability to be fantastic regular clientele, but all of mine come in to see me with the understanding that not everything is about the looks.
In these situations, it takes a ginormous amount of compassion, and care to keep these pets comfortable and safe, for the rest of their lives.
Please be understanding with your groomers where your senior pets are involved- we are doing out utmost to keep them happy, comfortable, and healthy. ✨️🛁🫧✂️🐩🐕✨️

I'm sorry I've been rather inactive, I will try to add some more pictures here and there that I've not had time to upload! Work has been steady and we're coming into the holiday season... if you would like to book for pre-thanksgiving or pre-christmas/hannukah grooming you are definitely better off doing that sooner rather than later! 🐩🖤❤️✂️🐕🫧🛁✨️
