Cutting down for the winter. I have some very nice Lilacs (The Breed) available - some I raised form this year's litters that I grew out but have decided not to keep and at least 1 proven doe. I also have some Champagne d'Argents that would make great breeding pairs for meat production. They are all large and fast growing. Also, a few pet English Spots available and a show/breeding Chocolate Buck and Grey Buck.

My Lilac (the Breed Lilac) Sr. Buck got 1st place in his class and Best Opposite of Breed! And my other Sr. Buck was 2nd place out of 18. My Junior bucks also did great placing 2nd and 6th out of 19. My Senior doe was 10th out of 21 and my Junior Does were 13th, 15th and 17th out of 32.

My Gold English Spot Jr bucks did well, placing 2nd and 5th out of 12.

Made it to ARBA Convention today! I brought 11 Lilacs and 6 English Spots. I have a Chocolate English Spot Buck available and a couple Lilac Bucks.

English Spot, Black Jr. Bucks (pet quality: 1 is very plain, but showable the other is beautiful but not showable due to small white spot on upper lip).
English Spot Gold, Jr. bucks and does (pet only, they are either a little smutty in color or have dark whiskers).

I have not posted on my Rabbitry page in a few years. Here is the update: My rabbitry is back in Newport, Vermont. I have Black, Grey, Gold and Tort English Spots, Lilac (the breed), and Champagne d'Argents. With my work schedule, I think I will only be able to attend a couple NY shows this spring. I am planning to go to NY Grand Finals in Syracuse in the fall and the ARBA National Convention.
I currently have 4 Spot litters recently weened. I have marked, but not competitive show quality available (Gold, Grey and Black) - mostly bucks. I have a weened litter of Lilac with at least one buck available.
I have 4 more Spot litters and 3 Lilac litters in the nest box. And lots of bred (hopefully) does due next month, including one of my new Champagnes.

Picture below is the second generation of golds. The first ones popped up in a litter out of a black and chocolate that had no gold in the pedigree. They are a work in progress. The third generation was born this winter. I think they are pretty, but I am still getting some with dark whiskers. I think I will need to take them to a show and see them next to real golds to see if they are the right color.
