We are proud to announce that West End Animal Hospital is now a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Practice! This means our employees have completed a rigorous training and evaluation process as part of the Fear Free Initiative, which is designed to ease the fear, anxiety, and stress so many pets experience while at the veterinarian.

As one of only two vet practices within a 70 mile radius to be certified, we are uniquely equipped to recognize even subtle signs of stress in your pets and will work with you to alleviate it. This may include strategies such as treats (and lots of them!), toys, soothing music, calming pheromones or medications. By using gentle handling techniques, we can work together to create a positive experience for your furry family member.
