Dante is a BIG boy and is currently at maximum weight for a junior at only 3 months old - VERY likely to finish out at brood weight (>4 lbs), so he would DQ at an ARBA show. He will need a petite, showy doe if being bred.
As far as I am aware there is no shaded, tort, REW, or BEW/Vienna in his background; does carry dilute.
He would make a great pet or 4-H animal!
His baby coat was shorn for easy maintenance a month ago and is still coming back in - the lighter coat bits still need to be plucked out as it comes loose.
Full pedigree if desired - he does have an older full sibling on the West Coast that is absolutely killing it on the show table!

These two AFL babies will be looking to hop in a couple weeks.
Self black jr buck and doe littermates.
Born on November 18, 2024
Still working on posing but they are reluctantly getting the hang of it.
The buck has been a tank since day 1; big blocky head, just a tad long in the ear. The doe is petite, the smallest of the litter and her ears are still settling. Both are super friendly, of course I have chosen to grow out their skittish brother lol

The R&D Committee is excited to support and promote an important survey focused on the rabbit industry. This study is being conducted by Jacob Lansing, an undergraduate student in Ohio State’s Animal Science Department.

The survey has received approval at both the board and committee levels. We encourage all members to participate in the survey and share it widely within the community. We look forward to future collaboration with the research team and hope to include the results in the DR for dissemination of the data to the membership.
