I worked my last day of relief this past Monday. It was bitter sweet! I’ve learned so much doing relief work for the past year. Some places were hard to leave, but meeting so many new colleagues and now friends, makes the journey worth it.

On Monday I’ll be shifting my focus 100% to CityVet. There is a lot of work to be done behind the scenes before opening - hopefully in September. Stay tuned for updates 😊

Time to introduce our newest visitor 🐈

This little guy came into our lives when Jamie went to get donuts from Krispy Kreme and came back with a dumpster kitten! The poor little guy was in rough shape - emaciated, dirty, and dehydrated. It wasn’t until cleaning him up we realized he also had a broken leg 😢

We’ve been taking care of him for about a week now and he is the sweetest! We’re hopeful time and cage rest will heal that broken leg. He’ll continue to get treatment and TLC until he’s ready to go to a new home. 🤍🏡

I suppose it’s time to let the cat out of the bag. I’ll be opening a clinic in Fall 2024!

I’m so excited to be starting this new chapter in my career. I hope to see some familiar faces and plenty of new ones!

After 6 months of relief work at Tritt Animal Hospital, sadly today was my last day with them. I didn’t anticipate the bonds I’d form and the amazing people I’d come to call my friends while doing relief. What a tough group to leave! They’ve hired a new doctor and no longer need relief.

Now I’ll be a bit more here, there and everywhere for the time being! Sprayberry, Trickum, Peachvet Pet Wellness, and others. I also can’t wait to share some news about some bigger plans in the works as time marches on. Until then, I’ll keep on keeping on.
