WHAT A BREEDER NEVER SAYS OUT LOUD

🤔 People often think that a breeder lives between perfect dogs and cats
But one forgets everything that is behind to bring these little miracles into the world.
Pictures are sweet, but reality is intense and demanding.

☝ Every birth is a lottery.
You can prepare, plan and study anything... but not a single delivery goes exactly as hoped.
Every time it feels like the first time even after years of experience.

😒 Death is our biggest enemy.
A mother dog/cat that gets complications, a pup/kitten that doesn't make it...
It happens unexpectedly and breaks your heart every time.

👍 Using a good male or male cat costs money and effort.
Travel expenses, covers, tests, nightly concerns...
And then hoping that everything goes well: diarrhea, infections, growth delay.
Breeding is an investment: financially, emotionally and physically.

☝Bottle feeding?
Cute, yeah... The first five minutes.
But after that feeding every 2-3 hours, day and night, for weeks.
That's pure survival mode, with coffee as the rescue.

🤦 ♀️ People often see puppies and kittens as "business":
"Four pups/kittens × price = win! ”
But they forget everything:
• genetic testing
• the coverage
• nourishment
• vet
• grooming and hygiene
• photo sessions and advertising
• kilos of feed and mountains of p**p

What's left? Rarely a gold bar.

😴 Sleepless nights are inevitable.
No weekends, no vacation, no break.

🤫 Who really raises the pups/kittens?
The mother dog... and the breeder.
Every small infection can threaten an entire nest.

😬 And the question "Why is it so expensive? ”
If we got a euro for every time...
Then the dogs/cats ate caviar instead of crumbs.

😵 💫 Future owners always worry us.
A pup/kitten is not a package you just send.
We choose adopters carefully, sometimes we refuse, sometimes we wait longer.

Emotional fatigue?
You almost never see those.
The pressure, the responsibility, watching over every detail...
And the loneliness in an emergency situation.

🤐 Sometimes we want to stop.
After a loss. After setback. After exhaustion.
And then a pup/kitten opens its eyes... and it starts all over again.
It's a passion that you don't let go of - a delicious madness.

🙏 The sorrow of loss...
We rarely talk about that.
But with every goodbye, a piece of us dies.
Yet we get up again, for the pups/kittens that still need a home.

🥰 Yes, there are beautiful moments.
Yes, there is immense joy.
But behind every experienced breeder there is a path of sleepless nights, tears...
And unconditional love for these special animals. ♥️ 🥰 ♥️
