I’m looking for a couple of dogs (ideally ones I haven’t worked with before) to help test this in a fun, safe scenario.
Think of it as a “What would your dog do?” challenge!

We are teaming up again with Inside Edition on Saturday, August 23rd for a fun national TV segment.

Does your dog love food more than they love you?

Would they keep eating if you were attacked and kidnapped right at your front door?

We want both kinds of dogs those you are certain would not care at all, and those you are unsure about.

About the shoot:

I am joining forces once again with Nate the Dog Man to put this viral trend through the lens of professional evaluation. With over 50 years of combined experience working with aggressive dogs, we will give this social media trend a real-world, expert test to see how everyday pets react in a safe but realistic scenario.

Dog requirements:

• At least 2 years old
• Loves food and will keep eating even if the world is ending
• Safe with visitors and a camera crew

Owner requirements:

• Willing to act animated while playing the “victim”
• Comfortable being interviewed on camera

Home requirements:

• Located in Northern Westchester
• Has an open area where we can film your dog eating while you answer the door

How to apply:

Facebook Messenger message with:

Your dog’s name, age, and breed

Photos or a short video of you, your dog, and your entryway

A short description of what you think your dog will do during the scene and why they would be interesting for the shoot

We are looking for a variety of dogs with different personalities and reactions. Dogs that have been formally trained to protect on cue will not be used.

Confidence building isn’t just for people—it’s essential for puppies too, especially for a powerful, sensitive breed like Stella. At this age, her world is expanding fast, and helping her feel secure in new environments, with new people, and around unfamiliar sounds and sights is so important.

Here’s what we’re doing to help Stella blossom:

🦴 Positive Exposure – Whether it’s the vacuum, traffic, or a new dog at the park, we’re introducing Stella slowly and calmly to the world. Treats, praise, and space to explore at her own pace are key.

🎯 Short & Fun Training Sessions – We’re working on basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “place.” These small wins build her trust in us and in herself.

🐾 Confidence Walks – We take her to different textures and terrains—grass, gravel, wood, metal—to build her comfort navigating new things with us by her side.

🐕 Safe Socialization – Gentle meetups with calm, balanced dogs help her learn positive social cues and keep her inner guardian from becoming overprotective too early.

🧠 Mental Stimulation – Puzzle toys, sniff games, and short new experiences keep her brain busy and boredom at bay. A tired mind = a confident, relaxed pup.

We’re not in a rush—confidence takes patience, and every pup grows at their own pace. Stella may be growing into a strong, majestic girl, but underneath it all, she’s still learning how to feel brave in this big, exciting world.
