BELLA…RETURNED FOR LOVING TOO MUCH.
Yes… you read that right.
This beautiful Cane Corsor was brought back to the shelter because she always wanted to stay close to her person. Every night, she would quietly press herself beside them, comforted simply by knowing she wasn’t alone.
Her only “mistake”?
Loving too deeply. Trusting too completely.
It wasn’t because she was aggressive.
It wasn’t because she caused trouble.
It wasn’t because she destroyed furniture or created chaos.
She was returned because her need for affection, for comfort, warmth, and connection, was considered “too much.”
Now Bella sits quietly on her soft blanket against the cold shelter wall, trying to make herself small despite her size. Her tired eyes follow every person who walks past, filled with hope but also heartbreak.
She barely lifts her head anymore when footsteps echo nearby.
Sometimes her ears twitch at sudden sounds, as if she’s silently preparing herself for another goodbye she doesn’t deserve.
Cane Corsors are known for their loyalty. They love deeply and stay close to the people they trust most. They protect, comfort, and follow their humans from room to room because being near them feels like home.
Bella is no different.
She bonds deeply.
She loves fully.
And even after being abandoned, she still looks at people with gentle eyes that say, “Please don’t leave me again.”
This sweet girl doesn’t need perfection.
She doesn’t need a huge house.
She doesn’t need expensive things.
She simply needs someone who understands that closeness is not a flaw.
It’s love.
Bella deserves a forever home where her loyal heart is cherished, where lying beside someone at night is seen as comfort instead of inconvenience, where her need to stay close is met with warmth instead of rejection.
Because dogs like Bella don’t ask for much.
They only ask to love someone with their whole heart, and to be loved enough not to be left behind. 🤍
