"Why We Started Our Pet Tag Business"
Our story begins with a heartbreak that we will never forget. A few years ago, we lost a piece of our family—our beloved dog, Max. He was more than just a pet; he was our best friend, our comfort, our joy. One evening, Max slipped out of the yard, and we didn’t realize he was missing until it was too late. He didn’t have a pet tag on his collar because, back then, we never imagined we would lose him.
What followed were some of the hardest days our family has ever experienced. We searched everywhere—posted flyers, called shelters, and reached out to neighbors. Every time the phone rang, we hoped for good news, but it never came. The stress, the worry, and the heartbreak consumed us. It was like losing a family member and not knowing if you’ll ever see them again. Weeks passed, and we were forced to come to terms with the painful reality that Max was gone.
The thought that we might have been able to find him if he had just worn a pet tag haunts us to this day. If someone had found him, they could have called us, and he could have come back home to the people who loved him.
That experience changed us. It’s why we decided to start our pet tags business. We never want another family to go through the heartache and uncertainty we did. A simple pet tag could make all the difference in saving a life and reuniting families with their pets. Our mission is to ensure that no one has to experience the pain of losing a loved pet like we did.
