Come on over to the Bellmore street fair (17 Pettit Ave) today (Sun 9/21). We'll be there from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. We've got some great dog costumes for only $2 and Kong toys for $5. We also have t-shirts for sale, raffle tickets for prizes to be drawn at our Halloween party October 23 and a few other items. All purchases and donations help support our mission of saving homeless cats and dogs. Hope to see you there!

A huge thank you to the Ironheads Motorcycle Club! This year, they chose to support Bobbi and The Strays’ mission to rescue and care for neglected, abandoned, and abused dogs and cats.

Last Sunday, the Ironheads M.C. crew, along with their amazing families, rolled up to our Freeport shelter with a truckload of vital donations.

We are truly grateful to our community, especially our friends at the Ironheads M.C. and their families, for coming together to support our cause. Your kindness and generosity are truly life-changing for the animals who need us most.

Three Happy Tails With Very Happy Endings!

The universe works in mysterious ways, and sometimes, it all comes together in a day or so. We're overjoyed to announce that three of our beloved residents: Oso, Baisley, and Iggy, have found their forever families!

Oso, our sweet, gentle giant, Baisley, with a heart of gold, and Iggy, our energetic little firecracker, have all traded their kennels for couches and their temporary homes at our shelter for permanent love.

Their happy tales are a powerful reminder that every single dog (and every single cat) at our shelter is just one great family away from a new life filled with love and smiles.

A huge thank you to the wonderful people who opened their hearts and homes to these deserving pups. Your love changes lives!
