These were taken 6 years ago today. I remember it so clearly. December 14, 2025 will mark 3 years since we had to let you go. Losing you left a hole in my already broken heart that no one else can and will ever fill. You weren’t just a dog; you were family, my best friend, and a source of comfort I depended on. ​The grief is still here, but so is the profound gratitude for the years we shared. Thank you for all the love, all the laughs, and all the quiet moments. You were the best boy. The most beautifulest doggy. I miss you every single day, sweet Dandy. You are never forgotten my angel baby love. 💔🐾

For Dandy, because I just miss you!

I’ll never forget the moment they placed you in my arms. Out of all the dogs, I just knew you were mine, and you were. For 17 years, you were my shadow, my comfort, and my greatest joy.

You lived a life full of love and simple happiness: walks in the rain and snow, rides with your head out the window, soaking in the sun and breeze while we lived in Puerto Rico. You were there through every season of my life, steady and loyal, asking for nothing more than my time and my love.

Losing you just three days after your birthday to a cancer, I couldn’t protect you from shattered me. The bond we had, the love, and yes, the pain that came with it was something words will never fully capture. You weren’t just a dog. You were my everything.

I miss you every single day, Dandy. And I always will. 💔🐾

I am forever grateful to Chelsea for her unwavering support during my time in California from 2015 to 2017. Her generosity allowed me to reside with her until I found my own place, and her hospitality continued as she welcomed me into her home whenever I needed. Chelsea's selflessness and dependability were a constant source of comfort. During this period, Chelsea adopted Dumpling, a dog whose name perfectly captured her endearing spirit. The joy I experienced caring for Dumpling whenever Chelsea was away was unparalleled. As someone who deeply loves animals, I cherished every moment spent with Dumpling, especially given my separation from my own beloved pets. The news of Dumpling's passing at the young age of 10 has left me devastated. The anguish of losing a cherished pet is impossible to put into words, yet it is a pain that is deeply understood. I offer my heartfelt condolences to Chelsea and all those who were fortunate enough to have known Dumpling. May her memory be a blessing. ❤️ Chelsea Blechman

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce that after 13 incredible years, we will be closing our doors forever on June 28, 2025.

When we started this journey and our business in 2012, we had no idea if we would be successful. We just had one dream: to help our community and rescue as many animals as we possibly could. Thanks to your unwavering support, we've been incredibly fortunate. We've rescued thousands of animals, facilitated hundreds of adoptions, and even had the joy of bringing a few into the world.

Unfortunately, as time goes by, we all learn to listen to our bodies and recognize when it's time to slow down. Throughout these years, we've also faced numerous medical emergencies with our beloved mother and grandmother. She is now 88 years old and requires 24/7 care. Our main priority must now be to spend as much time with her as possible, cherishing whatever time she has left. This difficult decision comes from a place of love and a need to be there for our family.

We are immensely grateful for the trust and support you, our cherished customers, have shown us throughout these years. It has been an honor to serve you and the animals we all care so deeply about.
