Before moving to Florida, Eric was a licensed social worker in Denver. He is a credentialed Animal-Assisted Social Worker and canine behaviorist/trainer with clinical experience using the human-animal bond in multidisciplinary, collaborative interventions to help military veterans overcome trauma-related mental health symp
toms. Eric is a University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work & Institute for Human-Animal Connection alum and graduated the University of Maryland with a BS in psychology He is also a retired US Marine Corps officer whose combat time in Iraq and extensive international disaster recovery experience have caused frequent encounters with the trauma-related mental health conditions common to both.
