With 70 Years of Experience Training All Breeds of Dogs, we have the experience and knowledge to help you get your dog trained. We offer Puppy classes for $215 and fixed schedule obedience classes for $220. Our Flexible schedule membership package includes both beginners/advanced obedience classes for 1 Flat fee of $400, this includes 20 classes, and is Valid for use up to 6 months. Our Classes ar

e for any dog 8 weeks or older, we accept All Breeds, and all class sizes are limited to 8 dogs. We have specialty classes such as Puppy, Rally, Scent Work, Service Dog, Conformation, and Competition Training. Our Curriculum includes: Heeling on a Loose lead, Auto-Sit, Sit Stay, Down, Down Stay, Stand Stay, & All Off Leash Exercises, plus the Finish & the Recall (the Come). Our Training also includes Group work, Socialization, Distraction Resistance Exercises, & the Canine Good Citizen Curriculum. We help owners correct unmanageable behaviors such as: Barking, Jumping, Resource Guarding, Anxiety, Biting, Crating, and House Training. We have 2 trainers at every class to help you individually with any problem or question. We also offer regular CGC (Canine Good Citizen) testing, CGCA (Canine Good Citizen Advanced), & Trick Dog Testing at no additional charge. The Goals of our Clientele include: Basic/Intermediate/Advanced Obedience, Therapy & Service Dogs, Scent Work, & Competition/Rally/Conformation.

⭐🐾Happy National German Shepherd Day!⭐🐾Thrilled to serve Central Iowa for 70 years! Devoted to our clients, the Leas family has been helping you get your dogs trained, while devoting our lives to our breed- the German Shepherd Dog.

🐾Today is a celebration of my family, raising World Champion German Shepherds, and competing in a myriad of dog sports for over a half century. My father, Neal Leas was inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records in 1987 with 4 Continent, 10 Champion Mon Ami, & I was inducted with 67 Champion Jucki Von der Freiheit Westerholt ScH II, at the age of 21.

⭐I am Holly Leas, your head trainer at All Breed Dog Obedience and I started training dogs when I was 9 years old. I began competing Internationally in Obedience/Conformation when I was 13, had the Vice Grand Victrix of the US, in the highest level of obedience, twice by the time I was 18.

🐾Neal Leas & Sharon Leas started All Breed Dog Obedience to help dog owners train their dogs, while they continued their passion of competing and showing German Shepherds. On the cover of "Dog World" Magazine 5 times, Neal championed the breed Nationally and Internationally with American and German Line Shepherds.

⭐I have been fortunate to work with the Germans on our many buying trips to Germany in Obedience, Tracking and Protection work. It has been my greatest honor to have Picked/Handled/Owned our 67 Champion Jucki Von der Freiheit Westerholt SchHII, who was inducted into Guinness Book of Records for being the "Greatest International Winning Dog in the World" with 67 Championships on 5 Continents. My family, Neal and Sharon Leas, have dedicated their lives to this breed, and it has been my privilege to have shown dogs, and win, in multiple dog sports, in 45 countries on 5 continents.

⭐Working on the Stay Command in an impromptu after class photo! Great Job Teams, Fun Class! These Advanced Class Teams are safely socializing while working on off leash skills. The pack consists of 4 therapy dogs, 3 competition dogs, and 2 pups sharpening their all around obedience skills.

⭐All of these teams are in our Beginner-Advanced "Flexible Schedule" 15 class training package. This package is valid for 6 months, and you attend any of the 10 classes taught each week. Let's get your dog trained on your schedule!

💛JACKS the "Crisis Therapy Dog"💛 What a Milestone Accomplishment for Shelley & Jacks in passing the Crisis Response Canines Inaugural course in "Critical Incident Stress Management". Crisis response canines are highly trained K9 teams providing psychological first aid in the aftermath of crises.

💖What sets this therapy program apart is the stringent testing & certifications these dogs must successfully pass to become part of the "Elite" group of Crisis Response Canines.

🏆Client Spotlight🏆 For the Love of Racing!!!💛 This is Olive, a Golden Retriever, changing her humans life. This AMAZING dog is not even a YEAR OLD, started in our Puppy class, and is now attending our Beginner-Advanced "Flexible Schedule" Obedience Classes, working off leash on a word command. Olive needs a lot of jobs, and at the track she is Head of Service Work!

🏁This is Katelyns' 2nd dog with us, and her goals were extremely high, and we set up a plan of action. She was adamant about setting Olive up for success knowing the expectation would be for Olive to go everywhere with her, including to the racetrack, and camping every weekend.

💕Through consistent training, this team has successfully navigate a multitude of environmental challenges and can handle all situational chaos thrown at them. HOW? Through building structural boundaries via obedience, socialization in dog classes, and Katelyn's exceptional leadership skills. Every dog is different, and through our classes we assist our clients with reading their dogs' behavior, and tailoring their training/leadership to fit their team dynamic.

💙Huge Congratulations to the Unbelievable Team of Anna & Yogi on their Epic 2 title achievement, in Obedience, and Rally, at the recent dog shows.💙This shiny new team came out swinging with Incredible Scores; ⚡️WINNING ALL 1st Place Ribbons in 3 Consecutive shows, in 3 Days! This amazing feat was only made more incredible due to this being Anna's VERY FIRST DOG SHOW COMPETITION with any dog! Their performances could not have been more flawless, and the Cherry on top was PERFECT Scores ALL 3 days in Rally Novice!

💙This is Anna's 2nd dog with us, and this team started in our Puppy Class, then moved up to our Beginner-Advanced "Flexible Schedule" Classes. Yogi also passed his CGC, Canine Good Citizen, CGCA, Canine Good Citizen Advanced, and CGCU, Urban Canine Good Citizen. Anna brought her first dog Misha to us as a puppy, accomplished all of her Canine Good Citizen series, and trained her as a service dog with us.

Laura and I are SO INCREDIBLY PROUD of the amazing GSD Team Anna has built. A strong minded, willful German Shepherd is a handful, and Anna has built Predictable Reliability with practice and consistence in our training programs. It should be noted that Yogi is incredibly well trained on, and off the leash, with or without a collar, but the additional competition training of "Precision" is where this team stands apart from a regularly trained dog. Anna has worked HARD, not only in obedience with me, but in also in Laura's Rally classes, and we couldn't be more thrilled with Anna/Yogi's outstanding competition showing & success. We look forward to this teams' future, and a shout out to Laura for ringside coaching, as she was competing herself.
