This Memorial Day Weekend, we honor the brave—two-legged and four. Our office will be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday and will resume normal hours on Tuesday. Wishing you and your pets a safe and peaceful weekend!

Picture 1: This is a cat louse — a small parasite that can cause itching, hair loss, and discomfort. While lice are less common than fleas or ticks, they’re still a threat.

Picture 2: Ticks aren’t just a dog problem — cats can get them too. These blood-sucking parasites can carry serious diseases and are often picked up outdoors or even brought inside on people or other pets.

Even indoor cats aren’t completely safe, as parasites can hitch a ride on clothing or other pets. That’s why year-round flea, tick, heartworm, and intestinal parasite prevention is essential for all cats — indoors or out.
