DJ Paul is a 9 year old Pomeranian suffering from Immune-Mediated Polyarthritis (IMPA). IMPA is a condition where DJ Paul’s immune system attacks his own joints causing arthritic changes. IMPA is very similar to rheumatoid arthritis in humans.

DJ Paul’s owners take great care of him to control his joint pain. In addition to medications he has been receiving acupuncture and physical therapy consistently for the past few years.
