Remember sweet Sunflower? She was originally placed on the euthanasia list at the shelter—completely terrified, overwhelmed, and unable to show the world who she really was.

We stepped in just in time, and now Sunflower is healed up from her eye injury with zero vision issues, and she is officially 100% ready for her forever family!

Living in her quiet Pennsylvania foster home, her true, happy heart has finally had the chance to bloom.

Every single day is a win for sweet Mini.

She spent the first part of her life having to be brave for everyone else. Mini arrived at the shelter terrified and heavily pregnant, then raised her little "Minibytes" in a loud, cold environment. But that "Mama" chapter is officially closed—and now it is finally HER turn to be loved and cared for.

Mini is settling into her Upstate NY foster home, taking life one baby step at a time. She needs a patient, understanding adopter who knows that her trust is a special gift given on her own time. She’s looking for a person who will let her come to them when she’s ready, without any pressure to be anything other than herself.

From surviving the streets to officially living the good life—BUNNY IS ADOPTED!

When Bunny first came to us alongside her brother, they were both wandering the streets, completely emaciated and weighing under 20 lbs. It broke our hearts to see how much she had already been through at such a young age.

Fast forward through lots of TLC, quality meals, cozy beds, and endless love: Bunny has made the most incredible transformation! She is now healthy, strong, beautifully muscular, and living her absolute best life.

She is officially in her forever home getting all the love, cuddles, and care she has always deserved. Seeing a pup go from survival mode to thriving and deeply loved is why we do what we do!

A huge thank you to her wonderful foster family for helping her heal and get ready for this moment, and to her new family for opening their hearts to this special girl.

OVER 2,265 days.

That is how long sweet Stella has been waiting with PMAR for her turn to have a home of her own. While she is safe, warm, and deeply loved in her foster home, she is a true "pouty princess" at heart who deserves to spend her golden years as someone’s cherished companion.

Stella is now just under 12 years young. She was actually adopted as a puppy, but through no fault of her own, she was returned years later when her family’s circumstances changed. She hasn't waited with us for over 6 years because she isn't wonderful—she’s simply looking for a quiet, peaceful home without other pets.

🐾 Meet Our Pouty Princess, Stella:
✨ Personality: Gentle, a little shy at first, but deeply loving once she knows you're her person.
✨ Ideal Setup: Needs to be the only pet in the home (though she may do okay with a very calm, dog-savvy cat!).
✨ Manners: Extremely smart! She knows multiple commands and loves peaceful outdoor time relaxing in the yard.

Long-term rescue dogs only get seen when their community steps up to share their story. Stella has so much love left to give—let’s help her find her forever spot on the couch!

Peanut Butter was tied to a tree on Christmas Eve. She’s still waiting.

Almost two years ago, Peanut Butter was found abandoned, cold, scared, and left behind. She’s been safe ever since, but she still hasn’t found what she deserves most, a home where she can finally be someone’s whole world.

🥜 PB’s stats:
• About 6 1/2 years old
• Fostered in NJ
• Loving, snuggly, and wonderfully silly
• Wants to be close to her person
• Needs to be the only pet
• Would like a home where she won’t be crated or left alone for long hours

And when it comes to other dogs, PB generally just ignores them on walks and keeps moving. If a dog barks at her, she may stop and look, but with a little distance and redirection, she moves right along. She simply prefers to have nothing to do with other dogs.

PB has waited long enough. It’s her turn. 💙
