Retired Queen Anne went to a new wonderful home in Baltimore yesterday. Her new family already has a male Siberian. Anne is a super social and playful cat, so we are happy she is going to have a new forever friend! Thank you for being a great mom! Mama Kameya, papa Niki, sister Yaya, and we miss you!

Three weeks ago Dina went to a new wonderful family with kids in MA. We are so happy to see her having an awesome home! Thank you for being part of our family and great mama! We never forget the day you were born. We miss you very much.

We found a seagull (a herring gull—yes, the ones that steal your potato chips at the beach!) walking around on the street in front of our house on Christmas night, bothering people walking their dogs and interrupting traffic. What!? Bushwick is the geographical center of Brooklyn! Ocean is close tho… She seemed OK, she was very alert and just a little spicy but she couldn’t fly. She let us pick her up (they look huge but they are really light!) and she nipped softly once to make it clear she wouldn’t stand anything but nice treatment. . . so we brought her home (tried not to let the cats see her—the ones who did were scared :) and gave her food (holiday salmon & bread) and water. Her p**p looked good (soupy gross, but normal) so she got the executive suite for the night (bathroom with space heater and towel LoL!) and she stretched her wings and slept a lot, keeping a wary eye on the door. The next day we took her to on the Upper West Side (open for sick/injured bird drop off 7 days a week). They were very nice and took her with a smile. One of her feet was webbed and one was not so we called her Webber… Hope she is back soaring over the seas and city scapes soon…… Good luck Webber, Happy Gullidays!
