Sending much love to on the loss of his sweet boy Cyrus. He was such a wonderful pet and such a good boy- I’ll treasure my memories of time spent with him.. thank you for trusting me to care for him, he was a gentle giant and I loved being a small part of his world.

We’re reaching out for help rehoming our dog, Misty Maye.

Misty is a 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is healthy and affectionate, with no behavioral or safety issues. She was rescued from an Amish puppy mill in the fall and has done well since, but we’ve come to realize that our apartment and life with an eight-year-old simply aren’t the right fit for her needs. She would thrive in a home with space to run and ideally other dogs.

We are currently working with the rescue we adopted her from, but due to timing and capacity constraints, they may not be able to rehome her quickly enough. Because of that, we’re reaching out to breed-experienced rescues to ensure she can transition to a more appropriate environment as soon as possible.

This is a time-sensitive situation—not due to Misty’s behavior, but because we want to do right by her and place her responsibly.

We’re happy to provide vet records, photos, and any additional information immediately.

Dixie's story is one of hope and redemption. Despite being used as a bait dog and left for dead, she never lost her will to live and love. She touched the lives of everyone she met, including her furry and human family, and will always be remembered as a symbol of courage and resilience. RIP sweet girl, 10/6/24 will be 11 years that you are gone, I will always share her story, she was just the sweetest…
