My son and I got to ride Megan Malan‘s mechanical horse named Bart today. What a neat way to help the rider practice riding in a balance seat in front of mirrors. Megan is very skilled at assessing a rider‘s position quickly. She helped my son to get his heels underneath his bottom, and she helped me identify tension in my lower back during posting. We were able to make a few adjustments right away and develop a muscle memory, then go practice on the actual real horse. This is a nice way to fine tune your position, rather than trying to make fixes on the go. I think the horse appreciates it too! Thank you, Megan Malan! I highly recommend this if you would like to improve your seat and effectiveness of aids.
