The Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter has two locations, one on the West Bank and one on the East Bank of the Mississippi River. Our mission is to improve the community through the practice of compassion by saving and protecting animals, providing care and treatment, through education, advocate for their welfare and to enhance the human-animal bond.
