Big Buddy GSD Rescue Inc.

Our primary goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place each dog in a home best suited for them.

Out volunteer based organization will take in as many homeless, injured, displaced, unwanted, neglected, or abandoned dogs as we are able, and foster them until such time that they can be safely placed in their new homes.

This is Miss Violet and she is up for adoption. 🏡

We saved her hours before her death this past week and are currently setting up vetting. 🐕
She was turned into the shelter with her six babies ( pictures coming) they were separated and we pulled the puppies first, we were then told she was there. With some scrambling and help from a wonderful foster in Texas they are all safe now.

This lovely lady 🐩is gentle and a big cuddle bug she loves her people. She is a very good mother to the pups.
1.5 years old utd on shots.
She will be fully vetted before adoption.
We rarely get this color in what a beauty. Pictures don’t do her justice. 🌹

Sweet Nahla is looking for a foster or a forever home! She is just about a year old! We saved her as a pup with her sister from a high kill shelter in Houston! This girl is loving life and would love to spend it with you!

Alright friends and followers! We’ve got some big requests and we hope you can help us!!

First and foremost, Luke needs a home 🏡 a foster home, a forever home, or a foster-to-adopt. Let’s make this happen!

He’s been in boarding (problem #2… we’ll get there in a minute)!

Luke is about 3 years old, fully vetted and neutered. His size will surprise you, he’s only 45 lbs.!

This little to us/medium-ish guy would love for you to help bust him out of boarding, so he can feel what it’s like to live in a real house!
We saved him from the kill shelter last fall, but he hasn’t found his home yet! Can you share to help us help Luke?! Or can he come share your couch?

Luke is a good boy, and dog friendly. He would benefit from a home with an easy going female dog. He could do well with the right male, too, but he definitely needs some patience and some manners. He WANTS to be a good boy, but he needs someone to help him learn he doesn’t need to boss other boys around!

Luke has some prey drive, so we are suggesting a home with no cats. He might chase them!

Miss Pearl is up for adoption. She is 2 years old and fully vetted , microchip and on preventatives

She is a happy girl that loves kids and gets along with other dogs

Pearl came out of a kill shelter In Texas with her mom and sister
They have moved on and now it’s her turn.

This girl is crate trained and house trained she walks well on a leash and is learning to be adventurous. The kissing booth was a ball and she was a willing participant.

Help us save Kallie! 1 year old Kallie has been in the shelter for almost a month (she must be a real goood girl), but she’s on tomorrow’s euthanasia list and per the shelter directly, there will be zero extensions!

This sweet girl is very friendly, good with other dogs, and would love a new start on life! She was found as a stray with other dogs and has been such a sweet girl during her stay in the noisy shelter!

Kallie needs a foster! And we could use also some donations for her care and supplies! At minimum, please share to help us save Kallie! 💜

Our sweet girl Wendy is looking for her forever home!

We rescued this sweet mama out of the kill shelter last year to find mummified babies inside of her when she got spayed! 😱

Wendy loves to go explore with you, and she’s also happy to have a lazy day at home. She is so sweet, dog friendly, and quite a Velcro dog to her humans!

Wendy would love life with you! She’s a happy, loving, beautiful girl!

❤️❤️❤️ADOPTION PENDING❤️❤️❤️
Guys, Bailey is not okay. 💔

She hasn’t been back with us long, and she is shutting down.
She paces. She waits. She watches every door.
She does not want to be here… and she doesn’t understand why she is back. 😢

Bailey is only 4 years old, and she has now lost her home 3 times.

She was adopted from us in 2023, and again this past February… only to be returned because it wasn’t a good fit.

But here’s the truth,
Bailey didn’t fail anyone.

Bailey just wanted her person.
She just wanted time, companionship, and love.
She wanted to be part of someone’s life, not left behind in it. 🥺

She gave years of loyalty, comfort, and love… and in return, she was let go.

Now she sits here, heartbroken and confused, waiting for someone who isn’t coming back.

When dogs come to a shelter, they don’t understand.
They wait… believing their person will walk back through that door.

Bailey has lived that pain before.
And now she’s living it all over again. 💔

You can see it in her.
She is giving up faster this time.

She needs out. Not someday—now.

Bailey needs someone who will truly choose her.
Someone who understands that all she wants is to love and be loved… and to not be left behind again.

This is Jacob and he is a very special boy, he has overcome so much in his life.
He is up for adoption and is located at a foster in Buffalo Ny

Jacob came out of a kill shelter in Dallas with his brother Sam, they were positive for heart worm. The vet stated the treatment for both dogs, it was going be a process because Sam had a heart murmur.
Our Foster was prepared to go through this with the dogs. 😍
The heat came and Sam got sick, he was rushed to the vet but did not make it. 💔
These boys were a bonded pair, brothers for life. Jacob was ❤️‍🩹crushed and we had to help him want to live again. 🏡
His foster introduced him to every dog she had, he prefers Boys. 🧑🏽‍🦯‍➡️This was a long road, he has come to the point that with the right person and a male dog he would fabulous. 💐
He is house trained and crate trained. This boy is beautiful. So if you have the heart to help Jacob apply today. ❤️
